NOAH THE SCOUT

So Noah is in Scout's now and even though it is a pain for mom. (I'm just being honest) He loves it. They did a skit at the last pack meeting and he had a part were he was a man dieing. He was so excited about it. It has been a real good time for him.
Then this last weekend it was the PINEWOOD DERBY he wanted his car to be a Tank. It was Chris and his first time to make one, and since Tanks are not known for there speed. He didn't win many, but he didn't loose them all. He got an award for most realistic. He thought it was fun and he can't wait tell next year to make a better one.

BIRTHDAY PARTY'S

ALLIE'S SKATE PARTY

Allie really loves to Roller Blade and when we lived in UT she would do it all the time with her friends in our neighborhood. She pretty much wore her skates right out. So since we moved here she has discovered the skating ring and Love's it. So the minute I asked what she wanted to do for her Birthday Party. She announced Skating party. Duh! Mom!

We had a great time. She invited 8 (including her sister) friends and all but one came. So since we didn't have the one. I decided I would skate. (Thought I would take advantage since she doesn't think I am too embarrassing yet. Wait tell next year right?) It was fun!
Then that night she had 2 girls spend the night. She was very happy with her 10th Birthday.

I tried to be as cool as Aunt Suz. BUT I'm not!!!!!! Well give me credit I had to transport it to the skating ring and I didn't want it to be stressful.

Allie and her friends

KATIE'S PRINCESS PARTY
Katie had a great day! We had about 4 little princesses show up and it was a great time. We made princess crowns, princess bracelets. Then Katie couldn't wait to open presents so we did that and then we had Cake and Ice cream. Then it was time for the Princes Treasure Hunt. I took some pics of things in the house and made them into a puzzle they had to put the puzzle together to see were they had to go for there next clue. It was a huge hit and they loved it. Since we only had 4 girls come (Spring break I think a lot of people went out of town :( ) we got done with everything real fast so I broke out pin the tail on the donkey. I know soooo not princess but it was fun.

Second attempt at being as cool as Aunt Suz. A little better but still not as cool. It kind of looks like a 5 year old frosted the cake. But you know me I have no patients for tedious things and I am soooo not a perfectionist. So I liked it anyway.

Making our crowns

Opening presents

Katie got roller blades just like Allie. She loves them and is doing real good already. She could already roller skate so I guess it's not that different.

Treasure hunt

Figuring out where to go next.

Treasure!!! They got a necklace, ring, candy and a flower barrette.
Happy Birthday my big 6 year old! Crazy crazy!

Enjoying our back yard!

Well I hate to tell all of you who are not having the greatest of weather. But we are having awesome weather. -hehehehe- It has been so nice. The flowers are starting to bloom and it has been pretty warm.
The new house we are in, has a fire pit in the back and we have USED it. This was last Sunday, I love sitting outside by the fire. Good times!

Izzie was happy until I made Allie hold her for a pic. I should know better RIGHT!

St. Patty's day

K my posts are a little mixed up. But here was our fun Green Breakfast.Green Pancakes, Green Syrup, Green milk.
Allie wouldn't touch them so she had cereal with Green Milk.
Noah was so funny! He made sure he was wearing lots of green.

10 IN 2010

Allie is officially 10 years old. Time goes by sooooo fast. She is growing up and it is crazy. I know that I posted last year 9 in 2009 but I might just do that every year because it is way cool that the year goes with her age. hahaha I know I am a big dork.
On Allie's Birthday I let the kids pick what they want special for Breakfast, and Dinner. She picked Crepes. She loves them and had about 8. I was real worried how she would be at school that day cus she piles them high with powdered sugar. I have had parent teacher conference since and all the kids teachers mentioned they were all a bit on the hipper side that day. Oopps sorry! Good thing the other kids don't have school on there birthdays this year. Then she picked "fend for yourself night" for dinner. Can I say that is the coolest thing ever. I really know she picked it because she wanted to have cereal but makes it easy for me.

We let her open her present from us. A pair of new Rollerblades. The old pair she had she has ran into the ground the wheels wont hardly turn anymore. She was way excited.

Friday is her party it should be fun!!
Like my wrapping. hehehe Also on the side of these pics Chris is fixing our dune buggy so there are tools and stuff all over. hahaha
Can you tell she was happy!

Sick of sick!!!

K, do you ever get really tired of having sick children?????? I just have to say I am. Maybe I shouldn't complain because we were pretty lucky all winter until late January and since then it seems Izzie is ALWAYS sick. First it was croup on and off followed by constant runny nose cough, then in February we are now dealing with asthma. The Dr. decided it was allergies. To what???? But she did start getting better. Then Noah got the stomach flu. Then a week later I got sick and did it ever kick my butt. (Thank goodness I have an awesome husband that took over that day, it just happened to be his day off) then the next day Izzie got sick AGAIN. Worse than ever, it has been a week now and she is having tons of problems with asthma and her temperature keeps spiking at night to 102. Her cough sounds horrible, and to be honest with baby's that can't tell you what is wrong it just IS a little bit scary. She just wants mom to hold her all day, and even somtimes doesn't want mom to hold her, but does, but just wants to cry, and yell for an hour. Really I am tired and would love some much needed sleep. But I feel much better now that I have shared it with the world. Thanks for listening !!!!

CRAZY HAIR DAY!

This was taken after school. So if you ask me it stayed pretty good.

31ST BIRTHDAY

So Chris turned 31. His Birthday is always fun for the kids. I'm not so sure it's always that fun for him. This year he went on a horse back ride for the day with his friend Jared. (Thanks). Which is something he really enjoys. I had already invited Jared and his family(Bolles) over for dinner and Cake later that evening but the night before Noah had gotten the stomach flu and so I was thinking we were going to have to put that off for a few days. But the Bolles are awesome and said they were going to come anyway. As all of you know I am the most organized amazing mother and wife out there sooooo I had nothing for the birthday dinner that night so after Chris's birthday horse ride he had to run up to Costco and Papa Murphy's. To get his own Cake and dinner. Sad I know. What is even worse is when he was being checked out at Costco the cashier jokingly replied " You buying yourself a Birthday Cake??" All Chris said was "Yes". The cashier didn't know what to say. He said it was pretty funny.

Chris got a new Saddle for his Birthday. Which he used that day. The kids all wanted a turn to sit on it.

Birthday fun!

This video is pretty funny. Jared likes to sing Happy Birthday Oprah style. His kids get a huge kick out of it and it is really funny soooo he did it for Chris. He might just kill me for posting this but it was classic and made the night. Thanks Jared!!!!

SO BIG!!

These day's Izzie is showing us (Mom and Dad) that she is no longer a baby. She joins along in all the fun and kayos of all the kids. The other day Allie and Katie were playing. Dressing up Katie in makeup and her fake hair clip that she got for Christmas. Then for fun Katie was a model while Allie was a photographer. That is a game that is played often in our home. Izzie wanted to join in. She got to model a few posses too.

She is getting real good at taking all her clothes off. If I don't have a onesie on her we have a streaker on our hands. Lucky for me she can't get the onesie's off. But lately she has been trying to put clothes on. Maybe she realizes it still is a little too cold to be running around naked. After I got her ready for bed the other day I realized it was real quiet so I went on an Izzie search. I found her quietly in her room going through Katie's and her own drawers. She had managed to put on a few pair of Katie's undies and jacket of hers, I couldn't help but laugh.

She also loves to put the clothes on from any laundry basket that I haven't got around to folding yet.
Turned the corner the other day and this is what I saw. Apparently she can skate now. hehehe
(Don't judge how dirty she is in this pic :) rough day)
She just likes to be part of the group. She was pretending to watch T.V. so she could sit and eat the crackers with the kids. (Yes breaking all my rules of no eating anywhere besides the kitchen table grrr).

And speaking of the kitchen table. She is getting to the point where she thinks she is to big to sit in her high chair or even the booster seat.
She is also getting a lot more hair so this was my attempt to pull it back. It looked real cute for like an hour and then it a fell out. We will have to wait a little longer for this cut up du.
