RACEWAYS

We went to the Raceways one night.  I had gotten free tickets.  I wasn't really interested but it ended up being a really good time.  We all had fun.

TOFW

Every 2 years Time Out For Women comes to Spokane.  I have been able to go the last 2 times it was here.  I spend the night in town with my girl friends and get to be uplifted for 2 days.  I come home feeling like I can be a good mother, wife, and daughter for my Heavenly Father.  LOVE IT.

Young Women 10 K

The Young Women in our ward did a 10 K to get ready for there High Adventure this summer.  They invited the mom's to do it also. 

Well---- I didn't die and Allie was proud of me because I wasn't last. hahaha

I was proud of her because she ran the whole time.  She is so athletic and driven. I think that's awesome.

All the Girls, Leaders and Mom's did such a great job.  I think we should do this every year.

Thank you- to the great leaders my daughter has to look up to.

Easter 2012

Saturday morning at the community Easter egg hunt.  Allie found a golden egg. She got a huge chocolate bunny and a 25$ gift certificate to Walmart. Awesome!!!! The other kids got there fair share in candy. Even Nathan. It was a great Easter egg hunt.

We went on a hike with Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Kevin and Nathan.  What a great time.  Everything was so green and pretty.

Easter Sunday the kids got up before church and found what the Easter Bunny had brought.  Then off to church.  When we came home we had an awesome Easter Egg treasure hunt thanks to Aunt Jennifer and her creative energy.  The kids really thought it was fun.  Yes..... Izzie did the hunt in her dress and moon boots.  That is the normal attire for her these days and she thinks it is beautiful.  So I will let it go at least she is wearing shoes- right?  hahaha  Noah also changed the second we got home.. no no wait started to change in the car on the way home from church because that is what he does every Sunday.  The shirt, the tie and then the shoes all come off before we get home.  Such a boy..

We had such a great time with Jennifer, Kevin and Nathan we are so glad they came to visit. We are so glad they got to be here for Katie's baptism and to celebrate Easter with us.  We love you guys.

Katie's Baptism 2012

Katie was baptised Saturday April 7th @ 1:00.  With her best friend Eve.  They were so excited to get baptized together.  Yes--- the other little girl in the pictures with Katie is eight and even a few weeks older than Katie.  Katie is just really tall and Eve just happens to be pretty short.  It was Easter weekend and Chris's sister Jennifer, her husband Kevin and there little boy Nathan came to the event and to spend Easter with us.  In the morning before the Baptism we went to the community Easter egg hunt,  which was really fun.  All the kids really enjoyed it even baby Nathan.  Than after the Baptism we went for a hike at the Bowl and Pitcher.  We enjoyed Easter day with them and after church we did our own Easter egg hunt and flew the new kites at the park.  We had a great time with them and it was nice to see family.  Thanks to Jennifer I got some beautiful pictures of Katie.  THANK YOU.  I'm so proud of Katie she is such a sweat little (tall) girl, with a very kind heart.

Katie turned 8

We had a slumber party for Katie.  Three out of the six girls where able to stay and spend the night. The others stayed late for the fun.  Allie did a treasure hunt for the girls that at the end they found a bunch of girly slumber party stuff.  Things like Nail polish, pedicure items and jewelry.  They made bows for there hair with Duct tape. Played games, presents, Pizza, Cake and Ice cream.  Then Movies with lots of candy and popcorn.  The morning after was St. Patricks day so we had a green breakfast.  That made it even more fun.  Yes..... We celebrated early this year because the actual weekend of her birthday was too crazy.  She had a great birthday and she turned 8 years old.  In our family it is tradition for your 8th birthday you get your own set of scriptures (Thanks to Grandma Hair) and a new outfit for your baptism day.  Katie got a new white dress.  What a fun day she had. 

We love our Katie Lou Lou and I can't believe she is growing up so fast.
