Ribbons

Chris just put Allie in this club were you show Miniature Horses. He has wanted to do it for a few years. It's really fun for the kids- well and adults too. We just got two mini's Rosie-who is in the pics and Jack.

This weekend was her first try at a show and she was really nervous. One because we have never done it before and weren't quit sure how things worked, two because Rosie is a little awnry at times and it scares Allie. But she did great. She won first place in the first category - halter. Then she won 2nd in Grand Reserve champion- halter. Then in color she won 5th. We were in aw since we really didn't even know what we were doing. Also Rosie totally freaked out right after the judge looked at her so we just assumed she didn't win anything. But they only count how they are when they are looking at them. She was so excited. Now Noah and Katie want to start doing it too. The next one is in July so we hope we can get both horses ready.

HANDY MAN

I have the handy-est husband ever. He came home from work one day and just thought the kids needed a trailer for there little 4 wheeler so he made one. The kids have been having so much fun with it. It also makes picking up pine cones fun for them too. He is so great.

TURTLE FUN

Noah has wanted a turtle again since his turtle died right before we moved back to Washington. So on one sunny nice Sunday afternoon we decided to take a drive to our friends house. They live sort of in the middle of no where and have a lot of ponds and things around there home. We thought that would be a great place to find turtles. Boy was it ever. There were a ton. But they all were where we could not get to them. Those smart little buggers.

I'm not sure if you can see them but there are 5 turtles sitting on the log out in the water. This guy was really big I was impressed
Then we just hung out at there house and let all the kids play. It was a good old time.

The kids had fun playing in this huge mud pit.
Noah would yell and make funny noises in this pipe and our friends little boy Lane would laugh so hard. It was so cute.
This is Lane rolling on the ground in laughter.

GARDEN

A few weekends ago we decided to plant a garden. We have never planted a garden but have always wanted to. The kids had a great time and it was a good family activity. We just popped the seeds in the ground and hoped something would grow. It's been a few weeks and things starting to pop out of the ground and it is so exciting to see.

SPOILED

I just have to write about how spoiled I am. I have a daughter who is aged well beyond her years. She says thing that shock me. She truly understands what a mom does. She says things like since you take care of us all the time you need to go out and do something for your self. You would think she would say that for reason's she would get something in return. But I can't figure out what she would be receiving.
Every morning even if she has to go to school. She will get Izzie out of bed and feed her breakfast and play with her tell I get up. I tell her all the time she doesn't have to do that. She just tells me that she likes too. She gets up early anyway and I don't like to, so she thinks it's fun. I have to say I appreciate that so so so so so so so so so much. Because I am not a morning person.

She does things all the time to make things easier for me without being asked. When she is asked to do things there really is not much hesitation on her part. She is such a good big sister. She plays with Katie all the time when she gets home from school because Katie has been home with boring old mom all day she gets so excited to see Allie. Allie will play what ever she wants. She also some how sneaks in fun learning games.

On Mother's day she got up as usual with the baby and started to try and make french toast. I started walking down the stairs and she said go back to bed I was going to bring you breakfast in bed. I thought that was so nice but I had to break her plans and inform her we didn't have time if we were going to get to church on time. I told her we could post pone breakfast tell after church. I forgot all about it when we got home. But the next thing I see is her dishing me up a plate of french toast. WHAT she is only 9. That just made my day. I feel so blessed to have such a great daughter like her. I hope that the younger kids can look up to her and learn to be just as great of person as she is.
All my kids are great don't get me wrong. They all have there own thing that I just appreciate so much and love about them. I just thought Allie earned some well deserved praise.
Allie I love you so much and don't know what I would do with out you!

SHE'S GOT SKILLS!

My future Piano player.

and Ball player

This baby has some skills. She makes me laugh when I see her doing big kid stuff.

She is walking a lot better now. This is a video of this awesome talent she has developed. (sorry little bit long) But now we are getting a lot of bumps and bruises. You know- the questionable one's that your not sure if we beat her or not. Just love this stage!
