Snow or Rain???????
The weather has been a bit dramatic around here lately. First we were in the freezing temps for a few weeks then it finely decided to snow. We got about 4 inches or so and the kids had a great time sledding and playing in it. Then it decided to rain. WHAT! So now the kids are all stuck in the house or getting soaked in our Lake of a back yard for Christmas break. Fun fun. I don't ever say this but I think I really would like it to snow again. PLEASE!

GOOD TRAVELERS
We were way lucky this time that we were able to fly to Utah instead of drive the nice 10 to 12 hr. drive. The kids were so excited to fly because none of them have before. On the way there it was great we got in the plane took off which is exciting for the kids then when we are all settled they brought us a drink and nuts and by the time that was done we were landing. It was great! But on the way home I decided to try and get a later flight so we could stay longer and the only one was one with a lay over. So we took off and landed in Boise ID when we got there we looked at the flight schedule to find the gate we were to be at. And to our surprise our flight had been delayed by 3 hours. We didn't panic to badly yet so we grabbed a bit to eat and when we were done eating we looked again and it was delayed 2 more hours. Our flight was the only one in the airport with a delay. So there we were stuck in the airport with no TVs and 4 children, for 6 hours because our lay over was for an hour to begin with. Our flight finely took off at 12:20AM and poor Chris had to work in the morning. All in all our children did pretty good. There were no tired melt downs or boredom fits.

HANGIN WITH THE FAM
When we went to UT for Jennifer's wedding we had a great time hanging out with family. The Christmas party's, going out and staying in to eat. It was a good time. One thing I forgot and realized when we were there was the static. I don't know if it is because Utah air is so dry or what, but the static is insane. Look at Izzie's hair. We don't have this problem at home.
We had a lot of fun at Grandma Cherrington's Christmas party. She had the kids make a gingerbread house. Which Izzie thought looked good and stole one of the sides and had taken a few bites before we noticed. They did a really good job and had fun putting it together. Then we made some decorations for her tree and decorated it. Then all the kids got to open a present and had a great dinner. We always have fun when we get together. I love it now with all the grand kids it is getting so fun.
All the cousins waiting and getting ready for the Wedding Reception. THANK YOU Aunt Suz. For helping with all the kids and getting all the girls hair done. Because if it wasn't for you they would have looked homeless.

A WEEKEND OF WEDDING!!!!!
Well on December 5th my Sister in law got married to the most awesomest man. He is great and we all have known him for a long time. So we packed our bags and flew on to SLC. She asked me to be her maid of honer so the night before it was only my job to throw an awesome Bachelorette party RIGHT!!! I wish I would have got some more pics but I was having to much fun that I forgot. We went out to eat and did some fun and embarrassing games and then we went and saw New Moon. It was so fun with a bunch of wild women celebrating her last night of being single.
Bachelorette Partaay! :)

I wonder what he is saying to her. hahaha
Grandpa Cherrington trying to get Izzie to come dance with him.
At the Draper Temple it was great. I really don't know why this is the only pic I have on my camera. But this is his family and they are wonderful so I'll take it.
I am so happy for them and am soooo excited to see what there new life has to bring them.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. The morning of Chris took the kids all out shooting. Paintball guns and the 22. While Izzie and I stayed home. I think we all had a great time. hehehe
Then latter that afternoon we went to Grandma Debbie's (our Washington adopted Grandma and family). She had put together a great meal. It was us, her 2 daughters with 2 kids, her daughter in law, her 3 kids and her son, daughter in law and there daughter, and another friend Fred. It was a full house but a lot of fun. I forgot to take any pics until we were all done eating. :( But I got a pic of all the yummy pies. hahahaha! I also got this pic of all of us in our comatose state after eating lots of turkey.

VISITORS
Right before Thanksgiving Chris had an old friend come through town on the way to visit family for the holiday. We suggested that they come stay with us a few days. I had only met them one time many many years ago and didn't really know them. But TJ, Jenine, and there kids were so fun to have and it was like we all had been friends for years. Jenine was great she taught me some new yummy recipes and she was just such a great fun person. The kids all had a great time playing together. Katie cried for about an hour when they left. Her and there daughter Gracie had become inseparable. Can't wait for there next visit.
Josh loved playing with Chance
Katie and Gracie inseparable
Willie also loving Chance ooooh! Wait Chance loving Willie. hehehe
Favorite past time

Chris has a great love for horses, and he is passing it down to his children. I would maybe like it too if I could even stand 2 feet from them. I am just greatful that he has an awesome friend (Jared) that he can do this fun hobby with.
During the spring, summer, and fall this year, any chance they had they would go for a ride. It reminds me of back in the day when Chris's job title was COWBOY. I know he misses that job bad. Its too bad you don't get payed much for that! hehehe Now that it gets dark so early neither one usually can get away from work or family to enjoy riding. I know they both are counting down the days for daylight savings.
