HARVEST SEASON

That time again! We planted a pretty big garden this year and have been freezing beans, then I made 40+ little containers of Raspberry Jam, froze a few Cherries after I made some fruit leather for future fruit leather, 40+ bottles of Peaches (which I did after a 10 hr day at work, pat myself on the back hehehehe), Soon I am going to do apple sauce and then something with my Tomatoes I haven't decided yet. Love harvest season and I am honestly very happy that it is late this year.

THE FARM FALL FESTIVITIES

We were invited to go spend the day at our friends parents farm for what they call a Fall Festival. We had such a great time. I could not believe how many animals they had. They have everything. Who needs a Zoo. They had Camels, Yaks, Porcupine, Skunk, Pigs, Emu, Long horn Cattle, Turkins(chicken+ Turkey= Turkin) Chickens, Horses mini and regular, Dogs, Cats.

The kids were in heaven the second we got there. They got to ride this go-cart car that looked like an old car, they had piglet races. Pony rides, Archery, and food.

They had this old electric horse like the ones in the mall that cost $.50. It was hooked to an on and off light switch right were the rider can reach and they can ride it all they want without any help from an adult. Can I say the best thing ever thought of. It was a hit for all the little kids.

Allie also made a really good friend while we were there. Her name was Jenna. Allie and her were attached at the hip the whole time. It really is to bad we don't live nearer to them. I could see them being great friends.

It was such a fun time and we are so grateful that our friend Jill invited us to hang with her family. Thank you!!!

Maybe next year our husbands wont be workaholics and be able to join in the fun.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 2011

Allie started Middle School. I know crazy!!!! She really likes it.


Noah went into 4th grade. He says his teacher is just like the one he had last year."NICE! "

Katie went into 2nd grade. Loves it -like always. She has Mrs. Best who she says is the Best.


I am so grateful, and happy my kids are all liking school so far.

Summer Fun

I know, I know!!!! I have been such a slacker at blogging this year. I have to say it has been really hard for me to find the time to do it. Now that I work full time and still trying to be a good mom. There is not much time left.
But anyway here are some random things that we did this summer that I thought I would share.
With my work we did the Relay for life in our community. It was actually a pretty cool thing. If my work wasn't doing it I probably wouldn't have done it. But now I think I will try and get a team together every year. Because it was great. Our office was the white snowflakes. We did the 4 seasons between Dental, Medical, Pharmacy, Physical therapy.

Allie learned how to mow the lawn on the rider. -bonus she thinks its fun- hahaha

The kids made the hugest fort in our front room with Nanny Amber. I think they probably broke a world record.

Izzie went with me and picked a bunch of cherries. I think she eat every one she helped pick as you can tell by her face. :)

One night when we were getting ready to read scriptures I noticed I had twins. Hahahaha!

Noah thought it was awesome.

We went to Silverwood amusement park. With our friends. We had a great time.

This was at Boulder Cave. When we went to the cabin with The Bolles. It was so awesome.

Allie went Camp Reed this summer for a week. This is a pic of her roomies and counselors she had that week. She made some awesome memories that she will never forget.

We had a great summer. We went to the beach a lot too. This year I didn't really take any pics of that. You will just have to believe me it was a great time.
