Bringing in the NEW YEAR!!!!

We celebrated the New Year with my Mom, Brother Jacob, and Uncle Jack. Just at my Mom's home. We hung out all evening watching movie's, and eating treats. Not very exciting!! But it was fun ringing in the new year with some of our traditions.
I had the kids get into there pajama's so that if they fell asleep early that it would be easier. But Katie thought she needed to be dressed for the occasion. So she asked me if she could were her princess dress to bed. Sounded good to me- so she did. Then of course she needed her crown. I also think she put some of her little make-up on too. She sure knows how to dress for a party.

When it finely was midnight we ran outside and made a lot of noise with pan lids. That is always fun.

We started a new tradition last year at New Years with our friend Debbie. It was a lot more fun with her because she is awesome. But we made the best of it. We got some sparkling cider and have to make a toast to the New Year. The kids think it is fun. It is a lot more fun with fancy glasses. But we made due with what we had and used Winnie the poo paper cups. Pathetic I know. The kids still thought it was fun.

Then since my little boy is to cool to give me my New Years kiss. I had to tackle him and still one.

Izzie really liked her first New Years. She stayed up for the whole thing. She doesn't miss a thing.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! WE WISH EVERYONE A GREAT AND PEACEFUL YEAR!

CHRISTMAS DAY!

We had a wonderful Christmas. Since we are living with my mom right now. We got to spend it with my mom and brother. I think they both enjoyed seeing the kids on Christmas morning. The kids got spoiled like usual. Every year I say we are going to tone it down. But for some reason it doesn't happen.

Here are some pics of the fun day-

Noah-pokemon cards yeah!!!

Izzie really liked opening presents. I don't remember my other kids at this age getting so into tearing the paper.

THE JAM-EE ELF

We have a silly tradition at our house that on Christmas eve we put the Jam-ee elf box out on the porch and the Jam-ee elf will come and put pajamas in it and knock on the door. They never see him. This is for one to let the kids know that it is time to go to sleep and fun new pajamas for Christmas.

This is what he brought this year.

THE CHERRINGTON CHRISTMAS PARTY!!

The Cherrington Christmas party. We all met and went sledding first. The kids had so much fun. So did the guys- Uncle Scott , and Chris. Katie had a good time too. She got some air on this first one. It hurt her behind a little but she still thought it was fun. Katie had to call it quits early because she had started her fever a few days before and she looses energy and starts to ache when she is like that. But she was a good sport for as long as she could.

Then after that we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Cherrington's and eat, Sang a song that grandma wanted us to sing and the kids had props they thought it was fun and then opened the gifts of the people we had drew names.

It was a great night with family.

SANTA

We sent to see Santa at the mall. Just a few days before Christmas. Allie asked for a Rip Stick, Noah asked for cars, and Katie asked for presents (that's nice she just wants something to open). For some reason I could not make any picture turn out. So they were way blurry or they were so bright with the flash you couldn't see faces. So this was the best I could do. Izzie seemed to think Santa was interesting. I think she wanted to pull the hair on his beard.

First grade Christmas Program

Noah's first grade Christmas program was so cute. I think it was perfect. It wasn't to long and it wasn't to short. All the kids new the songs well. It was a good ! I think Noah really enjoyed himself.

This is a pic of Rudolf the red nose reindeer. The kids turned around so we couldn't see them put stickers on there noses. But when they turned around with them on they couldn't contain the giggles. PRETTY FUNNY
