SO SORRY!

Sorry it has been a while since I have blogged. For a while, there was nothing to talk about. But now I can say there is a little. For Valentines the kids all did the usual, handing out of Valentines at school. But it through me off a little because Allie wanted to wake up extra early to do her hair all pretty and wear a dress. She even snuck a little lip gloss and blush. That was real weird for me since she has never been like that. Now if Katie had done that it would have not even fazed me. I guess she is growing up. She was real cute about it.

Then that same night there was a Valentine stake dance for the adults. Chris and I haven't been to one of those since I think I was prego with Allie. But we were soooooo dorky. Chris put his red tie on that he got for his sisters wedding and then I wore a red shirt to match. I know right. Way corny! But it was a lot of fun. We went out to eat before with our friends the Floms and then to the dance. I really didn't think we would dance because after having 4 kids it don't look so good. If you know what I mean. BUT we did and it was fun, dorks and all. I laughed my heiney off.

Then we moved- yep again. I know I know what you are thinking but we are here to stay. For at least 3 years. Really I hope forever but we will see. I really love LOVE the house we are renting. I will post some pics later.

There should be a lot to blog about anyway soon. If you know us, it is the dreaded, but fun month of MARCH!!!!!!!! coming soon!

Into the New Year 2010

We went to Debbie's for New years! We munched on good food, her Grandkids and our kids played, and we played games all night. It was a good time. We toasted for the New Year with Sparkling Apple Cider. Its so fun for the kids. Then we did a few fireworks out side. After we were all done Katie was disappointed that we didn't bang pots and pans outside, because that is what we usually do. So I had to get one and let her do it. It's funny that if you have done something in the past its a must every year.

Then New Years day Jenna, Jaden, Katrina, and us went up to Mount Spokane to go tubing. They apparently have some real cool hill that has a rope lift that you hold on to and it takes you back up the hill. But when we got there and payed they shut the hill down because it had snowed a real slushy snow that day and everyone was getting stuck half way down. So we were all real bummed. But we let the kids slide on there bums a few times down some of the hills at the resort before we turned around and went home. We do want to try it again sometime.

CHRISTMAS 2009

This post is a little late, but better late than never. We had a great Christmas this year. On Christmas eve we went to our good friends (The Bolles). We had a great dinner, did the Manger Scene and Story with the kids, then played games. It was a lot of fun and we have decided to do this every year, since both of our families don't have family near by. Next year it is at our house.
The kids have fun even though they don't have kids Allie and Noah's age but they love entertaining the younger kids.

Our very unorganized manger scene . But the kids were listening really good to the story for the most part.

The wise men!!!!! We were missing a 3rd

That night when we got home the Jam-ee elf came. They were way excited for there new pajamas.

The next morning they woke up early. Noah was the first one to get up and come to our room. We have a rule that we can't get up until the sun comes up. (We are so mean). It was still dark so I told him he had to crawl in bed with us tell the sun came up. So he did and about every 15 minutes or so (you know about the time you fall back to sleep) he would say " Can we pleeeeaaaase go wake up the girls and open presents now." "I saw that there were presents Santa came already." " Pleeeeaaaaasse!" So finely when the sun was making a little light we decided to let him go wake up the girls.

I made them wait at the top of the stairs to take there picture. They were getting so annoyed with me. hehehehe! I love that its fun.

Izzie was still tired. So she just wanted to sit on someones lap and have help.

Allie's favorite gift was the Barbie-Dolld' up Nail digital printer. I have to say it is way cool and I play with it too.

Noah got a bunch of games. We gave in to it this year, because he didn't ask for one other thing. I really hope the video game obsession is just a phase.

Katie loved her new radio. She got a new Taylor Swift CD and listens to it all the time. She loves Taylor Swift its funny.

When Izzie got the stuff out of her stocking there was a chocolate bar and she wouldn't let it go. She is such a sugar baby. She loves it, loves it, loves it.

Then later that day we went to Grandma Debbie's she had gotten all the kids a craft and Izzie an outfit that came with a little tu-tu. Izzie was spinning and walking around with it like a princess. It was so funny, I didn't know that she would like something like that already.
Then later Debbie, and her daughters came over to our house and we played some games.
We had a great holiday and we are so blessed to have such good friends that feel like family.

Snow or Rain???????

The weather has been a bit dramatic around here lately. First we were in the freezing temps for a few weeks then it finely decided to snow. We got about 4 inches or so and the kids had a great time sledding and playing in it. Then it decided to rain. WHAT! So now the kids are all stuck in the house or getting soaked in our Lake of a back yard for Christmas break. Fun fun. I don't ever say this but I think I really would like it to snow again. PLEASE!

GOOD TRAVELERS

We were way lucky this time that we were able to fly to Utah instead of drive the nice 10 to 12 hr. drive. The kids were so excited to fly because none of them have before. On the way there it was great we got in the plane took off which is exciting for the kids then when we are all settled they brought us a drink and nuts and by the time that was done we were landing. It was great! But on the way home I decided to try and get a later flight so we could stay longer and the only one was one with a lay over. So we took off and landed in Boise ID when we got there we looked at the flight schedule to find the gate we were to be at. And to our surprise our flight had been delayed by 3 hours. We didn't panic to badly yet so we grabbed a bit to eat and when we were done eating we looked again and it was delayed 2 more hours. Our flight was the only one in the airport with a delay. So there we were stuck in the airport with no TVs and 4 children, for 6 hours because our lay over was for an hour to begin with. Our flight finely took off at 12:20AM and poor Chris had to work in the morning. All in all our children did pretty good. There were no tired melt downs or boredom fits.

Thanks Debbie for getting us at such a late hour.

HANGIN WITH THE FAM

When we went to UT for Jennifer's wedding we had a great time hanging out with family. The Christmas party's, going out and staying in to eat. It was a good time. One thing I forgot and realized when we were there was the static. I don't know if it is because Utah air is so dry or what, but the static is insane. Look at Izzie's hair. We don't have this problem at home.

We had a lot of fun at Grandma Cherrington's Christmas party. She had the kids make a gingerbread house. Which Izzie thought looked good and stole one of the sides and had taken a few bites before we noticed. They did a really good job and had fun putting it together. Then we made some decorations for her tree and decorated it. Then all the kids got to open a present and had a great dinner. We always have fun when we get together. I love it now with all the grand kids it is getting so fun.

All the cousins waiting and getting ready for the Wedding Reception. THANK YOU Aunt Suz. For helping with all the kids and getting all the girls hair done. Because if it wasn't for you they would have looked homeless.

A WEEKEND OF WEDDING!!!!!

Well on December 5th my Sister in law got married to the most awesomest man. He is great and we all have known him for a long time. So we packed our bags and flew on to SLC. She asked me to be her maid of honer so the night before it was only my job to throw an awesome Bachelorette party RIGHT!!! I wish I would have got some more pics but I was having to much fun that I forgot. We went out to eat and did some fun and embarrassing games and then we went and saw New Moon. It was so fun with a bunch of wild women celebrating her last night of being single. Bachelorette Partaay! :)
The cute couple! Kevin +Jen
I wonder what he is saying to her. hahaha

Cousin Kade dancing with Izzie. They were so cute!

Grandpa Cherrington trying to get Izzie to come dance with him.

At the Draper Temple it was great. I really don't know why this is the only pic I have on my camera. But this is his family and they are wonderful so I'll take it.

I am so happy for them and am soooo excited to see what there new life has to bring them.
