July 4th 2009

I have always loved the 4th of July. It is such a great Holiday to get together with family and friends. We enjoyed our day at our friend Debbie's, and her daughter Jenna and her family. The kids had a good time swimming and playing and we had a great BBQ. Then we had fun with fireworks.
Chris's cousin mason had been staying with us and he got to enjoy the day with us also. Allie was enjoying her 4th with Chris's family in Utah. She was able to catch a ride with some good friends that were so nice to let her tag along. We missed her!

OOOH! LORDY LOU!!!!!

So I guess Izzie thinks since she turned one she needs to make her mother crazy. The day after her birthday I was letting her play in her pools and after she was all done and tired. I took her in, took all her wet clothes off, changed her diaper, and put her in bed. Well a few hours latter I heard the little thing talking to herself so I peeked in to see if she was ready to get out of bed. OOOOh!! Lordy Lordy! She had taken her diaper off after she had pooped and finger painted it all over her bed. Well and (don't know if I should share this part) her face. oooooooww! I was gaging so so bad. She went strait in the tub. Then I disinfected her bed.

She also is constantly into everything. My house is not child proof right now. So that is the next thing I need to do to keep her out of cupboards.

Then today I found her half way out onto the outside of the railing on our stairs holding onto the railing. Sneaky little thing. She is so ready to kill herself. Never mind the siblings anymore she is just going to do it herself.

Izzie's 1st Birthday 2009

WOO HOO!!!
IZZIE SERVIVED HER 1ST YEAR!!!!!!

She had a wonderful day!! We just had a little Birthday Party at our friend Debbie's house. Her Grandkids and ours including cousin Mason who is staying with us for a few weeks, all got together to celebrate the event. First all the kids went swimming and then we roasted hot dogs on a fire. Then Izzie ate her cake and got really messy. We opened presents, and then at the end of a long fun Birthday the older kids had a camp-out, out in Debbie's back yard for the night. Izzie of course did not participate in that event. But it was a fun day for all.
Then the next morning I got out her new pool and she had a great time getting wet and playing around.

Izzie wasn't sure what to do. I was trying to show her all week how to blow. But she never was sure what I was doing. But even though SHE didn't blow out the candles, as you can tell from the pictures above she really enjoyed her cake anyway.
She will still stay little for awhile anyway. No forward facing car seat for her. She is only 18lbs and 3 oz. so maybe in a few months she can change to a big girl car seat. (good thing she really doesn't care)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET BABY!!!!

Noah's Birthday

We had a great day! First we took all the kids down to the Lake beach and park. They played, got dirty, wet, ran, everything boys like. Then we headed back to our house and played water balloon games and hit a pinata. Then we had pizza for dinner. Opened presents and then had cake. It was a full day of fun. Noah had got a tent for his birthday so the girls and Noah set up the tent and camped out in the back yard. They had so much fun they want to do it again tonight.

Sweet Girls

Well here are the cute dresses I got my girls for Easter. BUT as you all know they did not come in time. I love them. I wish I had a better camera to take pics with but these are just going to have to do. (in this first pic Izzie is singing if you can't tell. She is so funny)

Yes they are not wearing shoes. That is because they are like me and as soon as they can the shoes come off. I decided to not fight with them to put them back on. You know choose your battles. That is one I will not fight when it is a nice day and no danger is lurking. Because if you look behind the camera mom is not wearing any either.

Locks of Love

K- so she did it. Allie cut her hair. She said she wanted to cut it only if she could donate it to Locks of Love. So I looked it up on the Internet and it really is super easy so we measured her 10 inches and she decided to go a little shorter than that. So threw all her fathers tears her hair was cut. She loves it. She loves how it blows in the wind. I keep telling Chris that it is just hair, and it is like mine WAS. Sooo it will more than likely be all grown back by the end of summer. But for this summer she will have fun free feeling hair. Woo Hoo.
Also a little girl who would like to have hair will get some. Right after it was cut we packed it up and mailed it out to Locks of Love. She was so proud that she was able to do something good with her hair. She wouldn't have cut it other wise.
