HALLOWEEN

A week before Halloween we carved our Pumpkins. The kids had a good time doing it and we let them do it all on there own. No help from Mom and Dad. Except Katie when it came to carving Katie wanted mom to do it. But I let her draw her face on it then I just carved what she wanted. Also great little tidbit we figured out this year, dry wall knifes work SO GOOD for pumpkin carving. Izzie got right in and "helped". She kept putting the seeds back IN the pumpkin right after Allie would take them out. It was funny!
It looks as if Izzie is helping but if you watch the video you will see what is really happening

Then on Friday the kids all had there Halloween parties at school and a parade. So I walked over and caught a glimpse of them in there parade. That is always fun. Allie wasn't there and her whole class dressed up as The 80's for there field trip. I forgot to get a pic of Allie. It was funny she looked just like I did at her age. I AM OLD- if it is now a theme for the kids to dress up like I dressed when I was there age. SAD!!!

Then HALLOWEEN we Trick or Treated down to Debbie's then we picked up Jayden, Taylor, Jenna and Katrina. Then we Trick or Treated some more. We went down a few roads and got a ton of candy. Then the kids were cold and tired so we went back to Debbies and had hot chili and yummy cup cakes. Then the kids just played and eat candy. It was a fun day!

Allie- Evil Fairy Noah- Anikin Skywalker Katie-Pirate Izzie-Lion
Taylor-Tinkerbell She was sooooo cuteJayden- Peter Pan Also very cute
Izzie didn't want to hold any one's hand she wanted to do it all by herself. She is growing up WAY too fast.
Debbie's fun cup cakes
I thought Allie looked pretty evil in this pic.

Boo Bash!

The kids school had a what they call a Boo Bash. They had dinner, a dance and a costume contest.

The kids really wanted to go so we did. They had fun. Izzie had a great time dancing to the music. It was funny. Noah danced so hard at the beginning he made himself so tired he wanted to go home early. So luckily when we walked home Chris had just got home from work. So I left Noah with him and went back with the girls.
There was a family that came dressed up like KISS, I was impressed. FUNNY! It was a great night for Halloween fun!

Allie is a dancer- (That is my old homecoming dress in High school, I can't belive that it fits her. It is a little big but not much. Also she has since changed her mind and now wants to be a evil Fairy, soooo I need to go get some wings.) , Katie is a Pirate (also one of my old costumes when I was a kid)

Noah is Luke skywalker, or Anikin skywalker. I am not sure which one he decided he was. Also for all I know they probley are the same person. Also anyone that knows Noah he will probley be this same thing for years untill the costume no longer fits him. He was it last year too. That is just the way he is. Funny guy!

align=center>Izzie is a fairy. I at the last minute changed what she was going to be. I had an old fairy costume that never fit any of my kids. Soo I took the bottom apart and made it a skirt. Then she already had the vest and I pinned the wings to it I thought it was cute. It depends what the weather is like on Halloween what she will be that day.

Just dancing- fun fun fun!

PUMPKIN PATCH

We went to the pumpkin patch with Debbie and her girls and some of her Grand kids. It was a good time even though it was sooooo cold. It was a high of 39 deg. all weekend. Before we left, Jenna (Debbie's daughter) invited us all over for linner (hehehe). It was good and thanks for feeding our whole family. All the kids had fun together. Allie, Noah Katie, Izzie, Jayden, Taylor, and Katelynn. At the pumpkin patch there was a pumpkin cannon it shoots the pumpkins for pumpkin chuckin. There also was a Hay maze- that the kids had more fun walking on top of then in, chickens and mini horses, and goats. The kids had fun picking out there pumpkins and Izzie enjoyed the dirt more, it was a great time. I love this time of year and all the festive fun.

Noah's Baptism

It was a good day. It went well and we had good friends that enjoyed his day with us. I feel very blessed every time we have a child blessed or baptised that I have a husband that holds the priesthood to do these sacred things.

Look at my handsome guys

Noah and his Church buddies, He thought it was great that they all could get baptised together on the same day.

When we got home he had a gift waiting for him. He got his own set of Scriptures, and bag.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Cherrington for contributing.

PLAY

Apparently it is much more fun to play on top of everything!!!!!!!

11th year ANNIVERSERY

1998
SEPT 19Th 19982009

It was our 11Th year Anniversary yesterday. We didn't do much because Chris had to work and I after 2 tries gave up on trying to find a babysitter. I don't know if there are any others out there like me but I just hate trying to get a babysitter. For some reason I just feel guilty trying to bribe someone to watch my kids. So i decided we could just spend it at home. I made dinner after he got home and as Chris left to take Noah's friend home I hurried and set the table with a candle and nice table cloth and had Noah turn on love songs off XM channels. (Corny). I set the kids up to eat down stairs in the basement and they had a picnic party while Chris and I tried to have a romantic dinner with Izzie up stairs. We agreed that we weren't going to spend any money on each other for presents so I baked brownies for Chris and put them in a Rubbermaid and wrapped them. He was surprised when I brought out this present because of what we had agreed on. But when he opened it he laughed. I think he really liked it. If you know Chris any treat will make his heart grow fonder. (kind of like a dog. hahaha that is hilarious, never really thought of it that way). Then we watched a movie, got the kids bathed and in bed.
Then we both had lessons and sharing times to put finishing touches on so we enjoyed the rest of the night doing that together.
Really it was a great celebration at home. I think the kids saw how much we love each other and how much we appreciate each other.
I am so grateful for him and all he does for me and the kids.
Love you hun!!!
