SANTA FLOAT

Every year there is a float that comes through our neighborhood that has Santa and some elf's on it. It is headed by a couple fire trucks that announce he is coming. It was super foggy this year and I wasn't sure if he would still do it. To our surprise he did. The kids could hear him coming and ran out to wait for him. He stoped and gave them a candy cane and wished them a Merry Christmas! This is the first year I think Izzie is excited about Santa. She was super excited that he went right past our house.

ALLIE CHOIR CHRISTMAS CONCERT

Allie had a Choir Christmas Concert right before Christmas break. She was so excited because she was asked to give a solo on Silent Night. She did so good. Chris and I were very proud. After she had a lot of comments from parents and her teacher is really impressed. Made her very happy and boosted her confidence.
Wish I could post video but blogger has not allowed me too in years and I don't know why.

HUBBY AND HUNTING

Like I said in an earlier post I am not a huge fan of hunting season because I feel like a single mom. But I do like when I have a freezer full of meat for the year. This year Chris was lucky and got to go with a friend and hunt on there family property where they do guided hunts. He got an Elk which did fill our freezer. We did a big part of it into hamburger then the rest steaks and a few roasts. It was worth the singleness for all the meat. He was not lucky on deer this year. Always next year.

HALLOWEEN

Earlier in the week the girls all got to dress up for dance, and Izzie got to also dress up for story time at the library, whom she goes with the friend that babysits her. Its awesome of her. Then the Friday before Halloween we went to the annual Boo Bash that the elementary does. We got there late because I got off work late and Chris was out of town working. Then when I went to pick Izzie up she didn't feel good she had gotten a fever an hour before I came to get her. My friend had given her Tylenol and so she was in pretty good spirits and wanted to go to the Boo bash but did not want to dress up. It was fine we just cuddled up on a bleacher and watched all the fun.

Then on Halloween day I went and helped in Katie's class and Izzie and I dressed up for the fun.

After that Chris got home from out of town, a bunch of friends came over and we Trick or Treated until the little kids didn't want to anymore. Then we went to Grandma Debbie's for Chili and Corn bread. It was a fun night.

Thank you Aunt Jennifer for finding and getting Noah's costume at a screaming deal. It was just what he wanted. I so don't know anything about star wars. hehehe

NINTY-NINE BOTTLES OF....................

So remember all the apples before. Well one night with help from an awesome friend and husband we bottled 99.5 quarts of applesauce. I stopped it at that. I did not want to do ANYMORE. I am so happy we have all of this and the kids love it.

Also that night the kids all carved there pumpkins. Thanks to Allie who helped keep them all safe. They all did pretty good if you ask me.

SPIKE

Ok- I guess we are crazy. So Rosie ended up not being so nice. She would try and bite anything that would try and pick her up or was already holding her. So we once again went to the breeder and he for just $20.00 dollars more gave us an awesome Bearded Dragon. It is such a great animal and Noah LOVES it. Honestly should have saved it for Christmas Please ignore messy boy room in back ground :)

ROSIE

Noah named her. Her official name is Rosie. I would take pics but honestly she looks just like the other one. Just a little bigger.
