REX DIED

Well -Rex died a few days ago. :( We talked to the breeder and he thinks he got too stressed. (gee I wonder how that happened with a 10 yr old boy who wont leave it alone and loves it literally to death) The breeder told us that he could pick out a new one and he suggested maybe a little older one. This time Noah brought home a girl and her name is latter to be announced.

Camping adventure

K so I copied these pics from my friend because I was lame and forgot my camera on our one and only camping trip in our trailer this year. We had fun and it wasn't long enough but this was one of our adventures we had.
Noah shot a squirrel with his BB gun and I told him if he kills it he has to eat it. So Chris helped him skin it, cook it and then they ate it. They didn't really like it but I'm glad they humored me. I think its a good lesson to learn.

Thanks Carol for the pics. Good thing you are awesome and don't forget your camera. hehehe

APPLES

A friend of ours invited us to go pick apples at this old orchard that was no longer being taken care of. She got permission from the land owner and we went to town.

So excited to do Applesauce. My kids will be in heaven.

MEET REX

So Noah has gained another reptile. Chris did a job for a Boa Constrictor breeder and brought this guy home. Noah was thrilled he has been asking for one for as long as I can remember. I am glad he got it this way because the guy he got it from was very informative on how to care for him properly.

The only draw back is Noah has a very soft heart for animals and when we have to feed him the baby rats (pinkies). It makes him sad because he thinks they are so cute and he wants to keep them as pets too. :(

HUNTER

So this time of year I am mostly a widow. My husband is gone the second he is off work and takes anytime possible off of work to go hunting.

This year he had the 2 older kids and I take Hunters Safety so we could hunt too. Needless to say I don't think I will ever be able to go because I will be home with 2 younger kids. hehehe But he has already taken Noah and Allie out and its a great bonding time for them.

It's hard because I feel like he is never around but when he brings home the meat I am grateful.

NEW VAN

Wooooooo! Hoooooooooo! I got a much needed new van. I was so happy. After a month of dealing with our other van. Not that it was bad. It ran great. Had low miles. Just all the things that make a mini van handy for a mom where not working.

The weeks prior to us getting the new one. The passenger door was really hard to open it had a trick. Then the window in that door if you rolled it down it would stay down for a few days. Then the sliding door. ugh! It most of the time wouldn't stay shut, turn a corner and it just might open. We finely got it to stop doing that then it was hard to open. The last straw was when I went to get Izzie after work and buckled her in went to shut the door and it fell off. YES! FELL off. grrrrr! Then we got the door jammed in or on how ever you would say that. So it was no longer usable. LAME! So then we had to clime through the front doors and threw to buckle your 3 year old. Yes white trash mobile. hehehehe

Chris surprised me and brought me home my new rig after work the following Tuesday. Can I say hip hip HOORAY!

FALL CHEER CAMP 2011

The girls had a lot of fun. Katie really liked it this year and did really well. Allie was the oldest this year and felt a little out of place. I still admire her confidence. At the game when she was with all the Cheerleaders and little girls some of her friends came up and asked her why she was doing it she just stated " Because I like it!" nothing else was said about it. They just admired that she likes what she likes. Love that girl.
