Well- to be honest last month was a good one for us. It made me a proud mom to know that my kids were standing out as good people.

Allie won The Toby May Camp Reed Scholarship. She gets to attend a week long summer camp and it is all payed for with this scholarship. She was nominated by 2 different teachers (teachers picked children who show good leadership qualities) to be one of the 7 kids that get to fill out an essay questionnaire on how they are a good leader. The essays are then presented to a bored (anonymously)and they pick which one sounds like the best example and leader. She won!!!!! She couldn't believe it!
When she was presented the award it was all a huge surprise. The principle had called me the day before to let me know that she had won. He said that he wanted to keep it a surprise and that they were going to have a fire drill the next day and that after they were going to gather the school kids around and present the awards. Izzie and I went to see the awesome news. She didn't even see me in the crowd. It was awesome afterward the award was presented, I went up and gave her a hug and she was so surprised and happy that I was there to see she the whole thing.

Then Katie got Mustang of the Month. It is the same type of thing like student of the month.
She is standing out as a nice, good, helpful, student. Yay!!!

Good job guys! I am so proud!!!!
